Anatomy of an Eagle fly-by catch

Eagle’s looking for lunch.

Eagle spots snack and starts to bank right.

Continues to bank right

Stalls, applies air brakes.

Precise spot, snags unsuspecting fish. Looks like a victory dance on water.

Catch and a fly-away.

This is an interesting shot. Eagle is ready to thrust away, notice his curled wing tips, maximum thrust. Also, the splash behind him where he captured the fish.
