Mt. Rainier Sunrise

Captured this looking east between the Olympic and Cascade Mountain Ranges. This is Washington’s highest peak at 14,411′ (4392m). Shot this with a 300/4 lens @ f/29, 1/3sec, ISO-100.

Lake Union Drawbridge

This shot happened because of all the fog in Seattle, couldn’t photograph anything far away. 35-105/3.5 @ 35/5.6, 1/250sec, ISO-100

Hydrangea Honey

Shot at 1/1600sec @ f/4, ISO-160, metered at center weight average

Web Reflections

Tossed a dandelion underneath the web and got a nice affect. Could have opened the aperture to get more in focus. Shot with a Pentax FA-50/2.8 macro @ f/8, 1/25sec, ISO-100

Pumpkin Patch

This family was nice enough to let us on their land to shoot before the kids came to pick out a pumpkin for Halloween and fall festivities. So many choices, so excited!

Olympic Mountains

View of the Olympic Mountains from Bremerton. Shot with a Pentax K-5 with a Fujinon 55/1.8 lens. I was on a traffic bridge, had a little shake on the bridge.

Anatomy of an Eagle fly-by catch

Anna Hummingbird

Checking my new lens out when this little guy flew up and checked it out too. Pentax K-5, DA*50-135/2.8 at 135/2.8, 1/640 ISO-100. This guy is small but very fierce.

Great Blue Emu

The weirdest Emu I have ever seen.

Silky Dahlia

Tested an old 35-105/3.5 macro lens and really loved how the colors and textures turned out. Experimenting with DOF and focus. This is a great flower to shoot all the way through fall.
